July 4th/Independence Day

On July 4th, theirs different things to do together to make the day fun.  Go to different friends and family barbeque’s together, throw your own BBQ, take a trip down to the beach and enjoy the sun, or find an area near you that will have a fireworks display later that night and camp out.

If you can go to a fireworks display or get to an area close enough to see them, go and enjoy them together.   Be prepared and get some drinks, snacks, blankets, and chairs to relax and just watch the night light up.  And while you’re at it, try and sneak in a quick kiss during the show.

Easter

A nice thing that you can do for the Easter holiday is to make a small basket of her favorite candies and chocolates and give them to her that day.  If you go into any major grocery store or drug store a week or two before Easter, you’ll see the gift baskets with all types of different varieties of candies and chocolates in them.  If you don’t see a basket that you like, you can always easily make one yourself while adding your own touch.

Cinco De Mayo/St. Patrick’s Day

These two holidays are usually celebrated by either going to a parade that day, doing something that day involving that culture, or having a good time at a local bar celebrating the day with others.

If you’re into celebrating those days, dress in the colors involving those holidays or just go out and have fun together.  Go to a Mexican Restaurant on Cinco De Mayo and enjoy their food.  Wear green on St. Patrick’s Day and have a beer.  Regardless of what it is you do, it’ll be a fun way to make the day more interesting.
