Looking for the right gift(s) isn’t as hard as we make it out to be, …most of the time.  All it truly takes is us listening carefully and paying attention to what it is that she likes or is into at the moment.  On this page, what we’ll do is give you some ideas of some great gifts to choose from and to help you with picking the right gifts for each occasion.

Anniversary Gifts

On your Wedding Anniversary, you can get her any number of different things or do something together that day to commemorate the day.  Wedding Anniversaries do have some interesting options though.  We found that their are some traditional and modern day gifts that you can give to each other and we listed the more important “Anniversary Years” that we could find.  There is actually a year to year list for gifts but we’ll concentrate on the more important ones here.

Please note that these Traditional and Modern Gifts are only suggestions and can be interpreted any way you’d like and you can be creative with it.  For instance, on the 1st Anniversary, it says the Traditional Gift is paper and the Modern gift is a clock.  We’re going to cross our fingers and hope that you would not go to your printer and take a sheet of paper out and wrap it up as a gift or buy a clock for your wife unless it’s a clock she’s actually wanted for a while.  Instead, let’s get a little creative.

For paper, we would write a love note or small letter saying how we felt about her, how good it feels to get to a year together as man and wife, and how we’re looking forward to year two.  For the clock, we would probably get her a nice watch from her favorite watch maker or designer instead.

Birthday Gifts

Here are some great birthday gift ideas that you can use to help you find the right gift for her.

• Take her to her favorite restaurant for lunch or dinner
• Take her to her favorite place to go if you haven’t been there in a while
• If she’s into a new trend or thing, get her something related to it
• Clothing but only if  you know her size (get a gift receipt just in case)
• Get her favorite dessert
• Perfume
• CD or DVD she may not own or a favorite of hers that just came out
• Jewelry (earring, necklace, bracelet, anklet)
• Go see a play, show, concert, or event that she’ll love
• Plan a surprise party (inviting her close friends)
• Plan a get-away with dinner, a show, and an overnight stay away from home
• Take her somewhere she’s been wanting to go to or a place she’s never been to
• Remember something that she loves and do something that involves that

• Get her an item she’s been wanting but hasn’t had the chance to buy
